Well this is Death Metal and even Alex liked it! That fact on its own should be enough to convince you that this is a damn good album. From the very beginning of this onslaught NEURAXIS captivate your Death Metal demon within and bombard you with fantastic technical guitar mastery which ranges from killer lead riffs to typical Death Metal crushing ones. The drums are also solid and well executed showing the world that there is a lot more to Death Metal than just blast beats!
Recently it seems that I am discovering that the Metal scene in Quebec in Canada is little short of amazing with great bands like UNQUINTESSENCE and now NEURAXIS convincing me that I must pry deeper into this wonderful scene. "Truth Beyond" is a real gem.
The crystal clear production added to the excellence of the music should make this album essential for all technical fans of Death Metal. (Online April 23, 2003)
