Fucken hell, time's going by so fast! It's already been three years since "Fast Forward", the latest album of those nice Swedes has been released! So, what have they been up to since? Some tours of course, the release of a live mini CD, and most of all they got fucked in the ass by a record company.
Now that they're back on track with Regain, this trio went directly to the Dug Out Studios with Daniel Bergstrand (SATARIEL, MESHUGGAH, THYRFING…) to record "Royal Straight Flesh", as soon as the deal was inked. And this album is in the vein of "Fast Forward", which means violent Thrash Metal accompanied with some touches of Black/Death Metal, supported by the terrifying speed of execution of their drummer Matte Modin (also in DARK FUNERAL) and the excellent and unique raw voice of the singer Gustaf Jorde, who sounds like a Deathcore version of 1984's Mille Petrozza.
So it kicks some fucking ass, though there's quite a lack of originality. But it's still worth it, especially on stage! (Online June 6, 2003)
