Though "The Codex Necro", one of the most violent and surprising Black Metal albums released lately, is still fresh in the memory of every extreme fucker, ANAAL NATHRAKH, this fabulous UK band (also composed of the founders of the other almighty band FROST) already come back with this explosive mini CD.

"When Fire Rains Down…" is supposed to make you wait until the next album… well, it does way better than that! These six tracks will simply laminate you, and will crush your brain until it becomes some kind of jelly that will slowly flow down your nose. Why? Simply because the duo, here accompanied on some tracks by Titan Seth and Attila (both from ABORYM), have fully understood what the true meaning of the words 'violence' and 'intensity' was.

It's then a pure killing here, that should leave only a few survivors, and will have everyone agree. ANAAL NATHRAKH is definitely a huge band! (Online June 6, 2003)
