Osbourne, Ozzy - The Ultimate Sin

After “Bark At The Moon” Ozzy and the guys had to come up with something REALLY fast to appease the masses and they surely did with this album. “The Ultimate Sin” was definitely the best work that Ozzy has shown us in a long time.

This album had several big songs such as “The Ultimate Sin”, “Shot In The Dark”, “Killer Of Giants”. Moreover, the B-side tracks from this one were just as cool. I actually found myself listening to “Lightning Strikes”, “Thank God For The Bomb” and “Secret Loser” more often than the actually hits.

In this album you can see a definite growth on the behalf of Jake in his writing and playing. As I’ve said before he is a great guitar player and only needed room to grow in his writing.

This album definitely put Ozzy back on a good road to longevity. It was filled full of catchy, anthem like songs that completely kicked ass. As a long time fan of Ozzy I gladly grabbed up this album and I also bought the “live” video tape of Ozzy performing that also maintained a story line to explain who the sexy brunette was/is on the album cover

All I can say is OZZY RULES!!! (Online March 13, 2004)
