Scarlet, Richie - Stage To Stage

From the archives of Rock comes Richie Scarlet, the wild man of New York City as released a live CD that showcases his talents as a live performer. With tracks like “Rebel Boy” (tribute to James Dean) and “My Way” and a great instrumental “The Messiah Will Come Again” you are sure to be wowed.

Listening to Richie you can hear that lazy swagger of the likes of Ace Frehley which shouldn’t be too surprising as he has been the back up guitar for the Space Ace for years. Richie has played with some of the biggest and best players in the business and the comfort level you can hear on the CD shows that the stage is his home

This CD is a no-frills complete balls to the wall rock n roll CD that is what Rock’n’Roll was supposed to be; full of whiskey and women... Music has gotten so angry it is nice to hear the way music started out, full of rebellion, one too many shots of Jack Daniels and the Blues.

Three O’Clock Blues” is the long song on the CD that totes a 7:25 length and is full of Richie and his own style of Blues that keeps the fans on their seats.

Definitely a great CD with a lot of great songs that are ready to completely blow your mind.

Check out why Ace and the boys from MOUNTAIN use this guy as a back up player. (Online August 28, 2004)
