Alghazanth - Thy Aeons Envenomed Sanity
And again...Black Metal. But this time, contrary to the much heavier colleagues of THYRANE, epic and very melodic.

Following the obligatory intro, ALGHAZANTH showcase a piece of heavy, keyboard-underlaid Black Metal, which lives from its epic melodies ("The Unbounded Wrath"), just like the following "My Somberness Surmounted" and "Of A Stormgrey Vision". Also heavy Double Bass-Black Metal ("Towards The Tempting Infinity") and the more moderate version of it ("Ensnared In Moonshades") can are pleasing the hearer's ear. And before the closing fast "The Thorns Cry Blood", the instrumental "When The Spirits Dance In Grief" offers some welcome variation with its doomy tempo and the highly melodic guitars.

Just like with most Black Metal-albums, originality is only a trace element, but quality still reigns here. After all it will be only a matter of the number of albums of this style that can be found in your collection already, if you want to add ALGHATANTH to it or not. It won't be a mistake in any way.
