A GRUESOME FIND was created in April 1998. The project was a result of musical differences in a Death Metal band called CARRION. With a passion for playing extremely heavy, melodic music with atmosphere, several line-up changes occurred in order to find the most suitable musicians with the same musical goals in mind. Finally, in October of 2001, an adequate line-up was recruited and the music making began in full force! A five-song demo was recorded several months later and heavy gigging ensued to help promote the release.
In July of 2002, vocal duties were placed in the hands of Naberius, a substantial addition to the group. Again, new music was being written at blistering speeds and several months later, a full-length recording called "The Fire That Burns In Hell" was produced. More shows were played to promote and many promos were sent overseas for review and radio play. Today, A GRUESOME FIND is diligently preparing for another studio release called "Minions Engage", promising to be their most intense work to date. Keep an eye out for it in 2004! The band's official homepage: www.agruesomefind.com, helps keep fans up to date on the happenings of AGF and has full songs and video clips to download.
