Just found out that Destruction will be recorded a new special album for their 30th anniversary this year. If its as anything as good as Thrash Anthems was for the last time they recorded in celebration - it ought to be killer.

I just hope its better than the uninspired drivel that was released last year.

I'm very curious about the Unisonic album, seeing as it's basically an excuse for the two most important players in the classic Helloween sound to reunite. I know Kiske and Hansen have been doing songs together for years, but I'd like to see what they can do with a full album. Though he joined late and I'm unsure of what his songwriting duties are, Hansen's joining the band has all but dominated the media attention.

I have many expected albums, but one that has me intrigued is Saint Vitus' New album.

I hope it is as good as their first works and not as bad as their last albums...

Deathhammer - Onward to the Pits (Death/Thrash)

Totally agree with all those anticipating a new Pig Destroyer.

Also, I really wouldn't mind some new Akercocke at some point (it's been 5 years now).

And don't even get me started on Anata (legal issues have put their career on seemingly permanent hold) :(

The promo for this one is out - I have access to this one because, as Interview Coordinator, I am on the mailing list for Earsplit PR.

Want me to grab it and send it to you?

:(

One of my favorite Death Metal bands. I'm with you on this.

I've heard rumors that NOBODY knows what the hell is up in the Akercocke camp except real life... Wasn't exactly a positive thing to hear.
