In this game, you are to choose members from other bands to create a band that would be in your opinion, the best side project band ever, then give a small explanation why you think they would be the best. Let me take the first wack at it.

This would be the craziest band ever! The heavy as fuck shrieks of Rob Halford mixed with the deathening growl of blythe would make a vocal rampage, which could not be fucked with! Your probably wondering, three lead guitar, how would that work? Well look how awsome all three of these guitarists are, none of them could only be rythym, so all three of them playing together at the same time would make a sonic boom of speed, and skill! The riffs would be so solid, relentless and ravishing. Followed by the crazy bass beat of Robert Trujillo, who has truly earned his stripes as a metal god! Followed by the relentless and complex keyboard work by Henrik Klingenburg, who know doubt is one hell of a tallented keyboardist! Now heres the most underrated drummer of all, he is so tallented and quick you would not even believe it! He truly is an outstanding drummer who can play extremely fast and technical. One of my favourite drummers of all time. If you don't believe me check out the Axel Rudi Pell "Knight Treasures" dvd when its his drum solo, you'll be blown away!

I think that this line-up, if able to work together of course, would be able to put out a pretty damn good doom/gothic/black cd.

The vocal section has vocalists that I happen to be fond of for different reasons and I think they'd sound good together. I was thinking Østen Bergøy of Tristania would be good in Christopher Schmid's place, I think he is a better singer technically, but Christopher puts alot more emotion into his singing which is what made me choose him. I think Ihsahn has one of the best black metal voices around and those vocals sound cool when mixed with gothic type stuff. Anita just has a great voice, plain and simple and the added dimension of a third singer with a different voice is good stuff. None of these vocalists sound remotely alike, which I think would make a nice blend. I'd like to see the vocal duties roughly divided equally.

I like all the crazy stuff that Ihsahn does on keys (I like Peccatum . . .), so he'd be a cool keyboardist.

Trym is a solid drummer. I'm not a drummer, I have no idea how hard it is to play stuff, but he sounds good.

I love the guitar section of Rapture. I have no idea if they are the most technically talented guitarists, but they sound awesome.

Pete Johansen is a great Violinist, I like the violin. This band will have one.

I couldn't think of a Bassist, maybe the band wouldn't have one (you can hardly hear bassists on cds these days anyway).
