I've posted this game on another metal board. Turned out to quite popular.

Here's the gist: Provide a good verbal description of an album's front cover artwork and the other need to guess the title of the album and the band/artist who released it


Ok for starters, here's a fairly easy one for Death metal fans:

The artwork depicts a four-armed demon with the face of a goat, the rest of him is human. His four arms are tattoed and the wrists have bandages on them. He's holding a dagger in his fore-arms stabbing himself in the heart.

Ok now guess the album'stitle and artist. Additional hints will be provided if needed

at this cover there is a spermatozoon. The head is a brain and the tail is a spine

Fear Factory - Obsolete.

The band's name on this cover is in large white letters, orange flames in the bottom left corner, and a sillouette of a person in the middle of the band name.

The Haunted - s/t

In the top right corner the band logo can be found, in the foreground you have a guitar that looks like overgrown by moss or something, in front of a reddish illuminated fog over a dark background.

Wow, the description alone is pretty demanding already to do!

Cool idea! But I have no idea about Alex's one... :lol:

OK, let's try something different... Bandlogo in top left. Background is a greenish/blue maelstrom on top of which something that looks like a head is falling apart into that maelstrom. Let's see, if this one is easier

Hm..... reminded me of Ayreon's Human Equation, but that didnt have the band logo in the left, but in the middle. And the color is more greenish......

..... so I pass this one....

It was supposed to be Malevolent Creation - Stillborn...
