I can't access the last pages of the huge threads with a couple hundred pages. Does anybody have a workaround how to get in these threads ?
On the first pages of these threads some users have really huge avatars. Sepulchrive has a nice painting of one of the old masters I think as an avatar :-)

I keep experiencing problems whenever I try to log in...

1) whenever I enter a new thread I am automatically logged out

2) most of the time I cannot log in because the forum does not acept my useername/password, even though it is the same as always

3) when I try to change my password and log in again with a new one it says that my pw is incorrect

4) I almost never manage to log in easily - I enter the correct info but when I click on log in I just keep getting redirected to the sale old log in page

This sucks!

Also, I'm a TMO member ("brother"), NOT a "reader"... for whatever it's worth... I know this is still early days, but this new forum/host is pretty terrible. Best of luck to get it all smoothlined.

@ RavenVW and Rogue Drifter - please excuse the obvious question, but did you allow cookies for TMO?
Maybe this is the problem. I'm using Mozilla Firefox and have no problems to log in.

Yep, thats not the main problem though imo, its the large topics with no posts in the pages at the end, I can't even find my own post as it says there are no posts... and it's not on the second to last page either

What browser do you use? Have you already tried to log in after deleting all your cookies?

long topics: The easiest way to solve this problem would probably be to create new threads.

shitty design: I've uploaded some additional themes which you can select on your profile pages. I'm not saying they are the be-all end-all but they are definitely better than the standard theme (I'd recommend "FI Black 3D Blue"). If anyone of you knows a good phpBB theme or feels like creating one that goes well with the TMO colours maybe he/she could post the link here...

Thanks Mr Rivfader, for your work. I changed the board style like you said and it's a huge improvement indeed

PS: In many other fora threads are only allowed up to 10 pages and then a new thread for the same topic is created. I always wondered why we got away with 200 pages and more.

The problem with long topics can be bypassed by using the time filter when inside the thread ... not the perfect solution, but it works

Anyway, the more than 11k messages in the "Now Playing" thread are way over the top indeed

OK, I ditched IE and am currently using Firefox. It seems to work, but sometimes I still have to log in 2-3 times before it takes...
